Quick and Easy and Fast

American Chop SueyI decided to go off the menu plans last night and make an old favorite, we call this meal 'slub glub', but it is also referred to as beefaroni, johnny marzetti, or american chop suey.
I stuck a package of ground meat in the fridge before leaving for work to defrost. Once home I quickly browned this off in a large skillet while cooking the elbow macaroni. I added paprika, onion, garlic and salt and pepper to the ground beef. A can of Aldi diced tomatoes and two cans of Hunt's tomato sauce were heated with the ground beef. Cooked elbow macaroni was stirred in at the end. Frozen green beans were steamed int he microwave.  Dinner was ready 25 minutes after I reached home!
