Inspired by my friend Carol (CT on a Budget blog)'s preparedness in menu planning for the next month I sat down and got busy this morning and did my own menus (thanks Carol for the incentive!).
We have several social obligations for July, two graduation parties, one 50th anniversary party, a parade/festival youngest son H is participating in, and the family July 4th picnic. I also left two free days for any festival or dinner outtings we may decide to do. That left me 24 meals to plan. I am trying out four new recipes and they are all coming from Pampered Chef's It's Good for You:Healthy Recipes for Busy Families . I also made sure to include 3 recipes using seafood and 3 meatless recipes this month. I am hoping to ease up the amount spent of meat this way and 3 meals using planned overs to ease up on the budget as well. Recipes using leftovers have an * and new recipes will be in bold. These are in no particular order.
